Trails Preservation
BTA/BOLT maintains an interconnected network of over 75 miles of recreational trails throughout Boxford for people to enjoy year-round. We work with landowners and state and local government agencies to preserve trails throughout Boxford using easements and other agreements.
BTA/BOLT also monitors and maintains all trails on town-owned conservation land. One example of this successful trail maintenance collaboration between BTA/BOLT and the town is the repair of an important bridge on the Long Marsh Trail at the 319-acre Wildcat Forest (see map below).
If you would like to help preserve a trail on your property or would like a Boxford trail guide with maps of various trails and protected land, please contact us.
